Paula Patton is an actress and producer well-known for her leading roles in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. Her family was a middle class one living in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. Instilling a passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother, who was also a fan of movies. Paula was a part of co-curricular school activities, and she particularly enjoyed the drama. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends, and she participated in school stage performances. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced a number of plays. The actress decided that acting was her chosen career. It was an enjoyable summer at University of Southern California. She was awarded a three-month project making documentaries for PBS. After completing the project with success, she began working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. In the following years, she transitioned to produce documentaries. Although she enjoyed her career however, she longed for becoming an actress. Her career in acting started with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. In the years since, she's appeared in many popular movies and television programs.
